Hero around us - Hero of my relatives

Are there any heroes around us? Do we meet any heroes in our everyday life? We wanted to find answers to these questions, and so in December and January we worked on the theme Hero around us.

There were plenty of tasks in which we tried  to make our students realise that heroes are around us, in our families, among our relatives.

The students in all partner schools were encouraged to talk to their parents and relatives about good habits of everyday life. They had a chance to talk to their teachers in classes about everyday heroes in their families. Then they wrote  thank-you letters to their relatives, parents, grandparents, in which they thanked them for their presence, care, help and advice.

The students also made short TV spots presenting their family Heroes.

The youngest students and also children from invited kindergartens and Ukrainian minority  took part in an art competition, in which they made beautiful drawings, paintings and posters presenting their family heroes.
